Literary Arts Foundation of Newfoundland & Labrador

Newfoundland & Labrador Book Awards

For 12 years, the Newfoundland and Labrador Book Awards have been celebrating excellence in Newfoundland and Labrador writing. Awards are given for children’s/young adult literature and for fiction in even numbered years, and in alternating, odd-numbered years for non-fiction and for poetry.

Since 2006, the awards have been presented jointly by the Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Literary Arts Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Literary Arts Foundation thanks the sponsors and supporters whose generosity allows us to celebrate and honour the creative achievements of our writers.
